Haven’t given up on Facebook but removed it from my homescreen in favor of Pocket, Medium and calm.com. I do think Facebook is great to stay in touch with friends and family, so I don’t want to throw out the baby with the bathwater. But it can easily slip into mindless scrolling. So now if I feel the urge to check Facebook for no reason, I reach for one of those other apps instead and it snaps me back into mindfulness.
