Highlighting Medium
Highlights are my favorite reading feature on Medium.
When I use the highlighter, I feel like I’m more actively reading, like I’m underlining in a text. I also like seeing what others have highlighted and it makes me feel like I’m part of a big book club.
I don’t know if it’s technically possible, but I could see Medium incorporating highlights into their new browsing/discover features.
I mocked up a couple of ideas, so highlights could be in the tabs or in the summaries.
