Thanks so much for sharing this, Gail. (And glad to see you back on Medium, I’ve missed your stories for awhile!) I’m a casual listener of Nick Cave, and his Red Right Hand song brings up memories of listening to the creepy X-Files soundtrack on repeat while in high school.

Now I need to pick up that book, too. Thanks for the suggestion.
