Totally true. Runners who train for marathons know there is a “post marathon blues” syndrome because once you are finished with the monumental challenge of training and racing, there is a sense of a void. What now?

But after training for enough big races, though, you begin to enjoy the process more, not just the finish line. Seasoned runners also know it’s smart to sign up for a second race or challenge before your big goal — it’s helpful to think of it as a continuous journey rather than just a finish line to be crossed.
