We saw this a few years ago too (I wrote about it here):
It’s not entirely surprising to see Bush’s reputation undergo a rebound effect when we’re not constantly hit with daily headlines of the Iraq war, the financial crisis and other low points of his presidency that you mentioned, but that time softens or forgets.
An interesting to me is, how will we remember Trump after he’s gone? It’s hard to imagine now, but is there any way he’ll undergo a similar transformation of our image of past presidents?
